From Times Tables to Lunar Dust -- NSA Alum’s Trajectory Takes Him to the Stars

Kristoffer Sjolund is a former North Star Student who is also the son of a teacher at North Star, Ms. Sjolund. He attended North Star Academy from 2007 to 2012. He had many teachers including Ms. Fine, Ms. Frazier, and Mr. Duncan.
“I have a lot of fond memories from the musicals that I was in. Anything Goes was especially fun since I had to be a comedic British character,” he answered when asked about his favorite memory during his time at North Star.
Kristoffer is currently doing graduate work at the Georgia Institute of Technology. “The current work I am doing at Georgia Tech involves writing a proposal that will go to NASA where I am trying to help them find a way to prevent lunar dust from sticking to astronauts when they go back to the moon in 2024,” . Artemis 3 is the next planned mission to the moon, the first crewed lunar landing since 1972.
