If you periodically read the NSA Newspaper, you probably have heard of Ms. Rinehart. If you haven’t, she is a teacher at North Star who previously taught fourth grade. A few years ago, she retired and now is a Substitute teacher. But, have you heard of her daughter, Julia McIntyre?
Julia is a NSA Alumni, who started at North Star in 2001 while she was in fourth grade, and graduated from 8th grade in 2006. She is currently living in Cincinnati, while completing her 3rd year of Medical school at The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Julia had the privilege of having some of NSA’s oldest and most experienced teachers educate her over the years. For example, she had Ms. Fiz for fourth grade, Ms. Fraizer, Ms. Loomis, and Mr. Cagle for fifth grade, Ms. Baltay, Ms. Pinto, and Mr. Harris for sixth grade, Ms. Wood, Ms. Stitt, and Ms. Pollock for seventh grade, and Mr. Duncan, Ms. Sanchez, and Ms. Keller for eighth. Additionally, Ms. McIntyre was even able to go on the Washington trip! She can still remember all the monuments and museums her class visited.
