North Star Bids a Fond Farewell to Mrs. Noriega

Jonathan and Dylan

Our Beloved Vice-Principal Mrs. Noriega is leaving North Star after 3 years.  She is moving to Rocklin, a town near Sacramento,  where she will start a new page in her career. “I am sad that I am leaving North Star, but I am excited about the next chapter,” she said

“I will miss Mrs Noriega, we worked super well together and we were called the Dream Team” says Mrs Shackel the principal of North Star Academy.

“I think I worked hard and Mrs. Shackel and I were a good team.” she said and added that she is proud of how she brought new enrichments and helped develop them.  Behind the scenes, Mrs. Noriega helped keep control over the entire school.

“My favorite memory of North Star here is working on the enrichment program and working with Mrs Shackel.” says Mrs Noriega

“I feel very sad,” says Anya M. after speaking about Mrs Noriega.

“Mrs Noriega did a lot of things behind the scenes that helped things to run smoothly,” said 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Snyder, and added that she was a big part of our community.   “I will miss her because she was someone who I could talk to about things I was struggling with and she would always help me out.”

We believe that Mrs. Noriega was an amazing vice principal and we are all sad that she is leaving this school.
