Scholars of North Star Academy, our new Vice Principal is Mrs. Mary D! We all know that sadly Mr. Havey, our old Vice principal and teacher has left our school. Although she is still new to North Star Mrs. Mary is quickly learning what NSA is all about. Many NSA scholars are very excited about the new Vice Principal. but were very said to see Mr. Havey leave.
Sophia R. and Bianca H, fourth graders say that they are excited for change but they both wish that 3rd graders could attend enrichment.
Meanwhile fifth grader Lucy S. says she likes Mrs. Mary and she is excited for change but she wishes that we didn’t have such an aggressive house point system.
Olivia V. and Hailey S, two fourth graders, say that they are excited to see what is next, but they both miss Mr. Havey.
Ethan V. says, “Mrs. Mary is really nice. The change to this school was hard but the vice principal helped me settle down. If I got to change something about NSA it would be to have different recesses for the different grades.”
Many students know Ms. Mary from workshop. She loves getting to know students and to see them have fun. She enjoys the woodworking workshop. This year (2025-2026), she has helped the Principal arrange the students into their enrichments, she says she tried her best to get the scholars into the enrichment program they may wanted.
Mrs. Mary is ready to be the new vice principal so lets welcome Mrs. Mary! Although we all miss Mr. Havey we know that Ms. Mary will do a great job as our North Star vice principal. We hope she enjoys working here with us at North Star Academy!
