There are going to be many exciting things happening at North Star Academy this fall. Lots of North Star’s favorite teachers and students have shared their plans.

I talked with 8th graders student council officers about the two Halloween events. The first Halloween dance is the Middle School Halloween Dance that is happening on November 1st. Tickets are $10 pre-sale or $15 at the door. This dance is only for middle school students.

The 2nd halloween party is for elementary students. I talked with Izzy and she said the dance starts at 3:15 and ends at 4:30. It’s on October 31. There will be a lot of food trucks and a food station. The dress code is a halloween costume or anything comfortable. But you can definitely still go trick-or- treating after.

There was a “Duct Tape a Teacher” fundraiser event on September 26. It is where you can Duct Tape Mr. Perkins to a wall.

There will be a big dessert sale. It is on October 1st – 3rd. They are going to sell popcorn, cotton candy, and dippin’ dots in Mr. Perkin’s room on Fridays.
