On Halloween October 31, the Jr. Leadership transformed room 105 into a haunted classroom.
“The kids really wanted to do it, so I decided to ask the Principal and she said Yes!” said Ms. Tickel
Fifth graders Reed and Eddie, members of the leadership class, said they “really liked the Halloween idea for a Haunted House,” so they helped out everywhere they could.
The haunted house was a big success. Griffin, a fifth grader, thought there was room for improvement, but added that it was really scary when Clyde leapt out of people. The haunted house included two scary people jumping out, mystery boxes with things like zombie guts, skeleton bones and spider eggs.
Fifth grader Isaac said he likes the television showing creepy images. Nick, from 4th grade, said he really likes Clyde jumping out at him.
“I liked how underneath the desk there was this guy grabbing your leg, “ said fourth grader Vyom. “I accidentally kicked him on the nose,”
Sixth grader Riley said students should be wearing ankle braces because so many people were grabbing at ankles.
For the students waiting in line there was a bubble machine and they could chase the bubbles around and try to pop them. All in all it was a great idea, said 5th grade teacher Mrs. Snyder said, ”I hope this becomes a tradition,”.
