Every year there is one dark spooky night, filled with jumpscares and loads of candy! People look forward to trick-or-treating with friends and family while in their fun costume that makes them a new person. Students were unique things! What were you?

“I’m being a PINK UNICORN!!!” says 5th grader Ella.J.

“I’m going to be the Purge.” 6th grade Penelope A. says.

Most people are very excited for Halloween, but it’s not everyone’s favorite. The majority of the people that we interviewed had Halloween as their second/third favorite, and Christmas as their first.

“Halloween is my favorite, I love dressing up and expressing myself, along with getting candy!” 5th grade Rosha.S. said excitedly

“All you do is walk, and get your legs tired… But I LOVE the candy!” 6th grader Emma P. says enthusiastically

Many people are doing group costumes (including partners).  “I’m being Thing 2 from Doctor Suess, with my friends Milana (Horton hears a who), Adriana (Thing 1), and Sylvia (Cat In The Hat)” 6th grader Sibel.Y says.

“I’m being Vector from Despicable Me with my friends: Sadhana (minion), Nandini (Gru), and Kate (minion).”

In conclusion Halloween is a loved holiday by many people and lots look forward to it. Trick-o-treating, dressing up and eating tons of candy is a fun yearly tradition. Hope you enjoyed your Halloween.
